MitsubishiParts.NET | Planted Seat Bracket Technology

We are very proud to announce that mitsubishiparts.net is now an official dealer for Planted Seat Bracket Technology. These brackets are made locally and if we dont have them on the shelf they are readily available in a timely manner.
We are currently working on adding the product lineup to our site. If you have another application you are interested in contact me by PM or phone 360.352.8558.

PRICING:
BOTTOM MOUNT BRACKETS $140 PER SIDE
UNIVERSAL SIDE MOUNT BRACKETS $79.95 PER SIDE

Planted vs. the competition?
Planted brackets are stronger! They are made from 3/16th inch steel making the welds stronger and more durable. The Planted bracket will not bend or warp with heat whereas other brackets can be bent by hand.

Which aftermarket seats work with Planted Seat brackets and what makes them so easy to use?
Planted brackets are more versatile with predrilled slots for sliders from most major aftermarket seat manufacturers like Sparco, Recaro, OMP, Cobra, Racetech, Status, Corbeau, Bride, Momo, etc. There is also extra material for direct mounting when the driver wishes to eliminate sliders altogether.

It all comes down to price?
We agree, and we are sure you will be pleased to know that Planted seat brackets and side mounts are less expensive then most of the competition and in fact when others raised their prices....we didn't.

Where are these brackets being made?
In the good ol' USA. In fact, Planted is a local family owned company and the products are manufactured in the Northwest so they are readily available to be shipped worldwide. By purchasing planted you're helping local business and the economy. It's a win-win!

Do you know why they opted to put the rise in the base (the upward offset in the front legs)? The Sparco base is the same and I had to have mine re-fabbed to get my comp seat any lower than the OEM seat.

Ill talk to the guys over at Planted about Low Brackets and see what they say. They have low brackets for a lot of other models, but not the Evo's. Ill get back to you on that one!

yeah, if someone gets a bracket to get my seat even lower, I'm very interested. I can get some pics of my modified Sparco units with the vertical cut out and re-fabbed.

Pictures would be great - are you running sliders?

This sounds badass...

Is there any info on how quiet and snug these things are?

my story:
1. original seats from my SSL were stolen.
2. I decided to get real recaro sports to replace them, keeping it as stock as possible while enjoying a tiny little upgrade for less money then the stock licenced seats.
3. after they arrived, realized I had to get custom mounts made at a local shop, which I did.

now my seats clunk and squeak when I drive around (but I think it's partially the actual seats themselves).

any chance you guys can confirm that these things would help with such issues?

anyone else out there rolling with recaro sports know if they can be adjusted to minimize NVH?

Do you know what kind of material the brackets you have now are made out of of? If they are flexing as you drive along they could be causing some of the noise themselves, but I would be sure they are actually making noise and it isnt the seat first. These brackets are rock solid - that is one of the key points of the brackets is how safe and stable they are.

I'll have to do some checking to see what I can see. Thanks for your reply, that gives me something to look into.
