So I'm looking to go lower for more head clearance and need first hand suggestions. Looking at maybe the Recaro Sportster CS, which is a bottom mount seat. So my question is will that even lower me? Planted brackets seem to be popular with sliders. All aftermarket seats I've ever run have been side mount which allowed me to drop the seat more.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

I want nice looking seats, it's a street car not a full blown race car.

How tall are you?

I'm 5'8" (practically midget size nowadays) and on my 15, i ratchet the seat 13 times from the lowest setting (25 total ratchets from lowest to highest). I sat in a 14 with the recaros and was way too low to comfortably see out of.

Tall people problems.

 

I'm 6'2".

I have a 2012, only had it for a little, and the seat doesn't seem to go up and down, just the back tilts and slides forward/back.

 

Anyone have any seat advice? I've always bought RACE seats for my race cars but nothing reclinable for the street. I'm 6'2" and 210+lb so make some suggestions. I still want something that looks nice so no red with purple stitching lol
