Looking to lower the seat or seats that sit lower

I am looking for something that will increase the distance between the seat and the steering wheel on an 04 Ralliart. Not really sure the options on this like seat brackets that lower the postion of the stock seats, or different seats that sit lower to the ground, or maybe even a smaller steering wheel.
The purpose is to create more room between thighs/knees and the steering wheel. So if anyone has ideas or specific products please let me know. Thanks

take advantage of the fact you do not have air bags in your seat to put some racing buckets. Most of them usually sit lower than regular seats.

Other option would be for you to roll down your seat height with the little wheel on the side of your seat base.

There's a vendor that makes brackets for the Evo's Recaros that lower them. The might would on ours, but it'd definitely involve some drilling, since our brackets are riveted, theirs aren't. Or, you could pick up a set of Recaros and get the lowering brackets.

I could really use a lower seat, too, because my head touches the headliner when I have a helmet on, but I'm not willing to give up our nice seats.

i custom installed my racing seat at a fabrication company near my old house. seems the only way to have it lower than the stock seat is to customize it. i think (not sure) that most brackets make the seat sit at about the same height.

my seat does sit about an inch and a half lower though. felt a little awkward at first, but i got used to it and love it. i think it even helps prevent my car from swaying since im a big guy and im closer to the base of the car. haha

ok thanks guys I guess there is no easy solution for this, I love the seats too but I am either selling this car if some one buys it that is or giving it to my little brother which was the plan but he is bigger than me, he has big thighs and I guess it feels to close for him so we have to figure something out or just sell it
