I would like to know exactly how much your tank weighs without a sending unit?
The OEM fuel tank holds more fuel than you can ever use. I'm assuming they are accounting for that extra fuel. With the new tank you could use all 6 gallons.

I'll be buying one sometime early next year. Looks great and I can't wait to get this on my car!

The 35lbs was based off a before and after weight of a customers car. We have not had a chance to weigh out each individual component.

We are doing another run right now. Once we have them completed I will post up the weight of the cell itself.

Demetri we could not get 10 gallons out of it. We may be able to fit one more gallon in the same space but definitely not a 10 gallon cell.

I would only assume the buschur Dp is the same height as the factory. What are people running with this tank?

I love it. It would be cool to have a prevision for the second fuel level sender so that you could still use your factory level gauge. But this way you would always have at least 1/2 a tank .

any update on the added gallon? would it be worth it to build one with the sump for the guys who need it and one with out? i would assume if you could make the bottom of the tank round and flat that would help hold more fuel.

i am pretty interested in this but i am still being a little ***** on the fuel capacity. slowly i am leaning towards it.

Here are a few shots of the last run in production and being shipped.

I have one person interested in one right now, if I can get two more I will do another run.

Factory Fuel Pump Housing Rings being machined in our lathe

Piano hinge baffle systems welded in, bottom half ready to be joined to the top half.

Finished and cleaned up - ready for packaging.
