Fathouse Fab ***New Release*** Bolt In Fuel Cell

Fresh back from the DSM/EVO Shootout where we released our bolt in Aluminum Fuel Cell for EVO 8/9. We fabricated one of these for Wheatley a few months back and there was some interest so we decided to go ahead with the project.

Our first run was 5, two were sold at the shootout and one is being shipped this week so we have two left on the first batch. If you would like to get one of these last two email sales@fathousefab.com to place your order.

Fall Sale Price is $525 Shipped 2 Weeks Only from 10-8-14. I have 5 Available, once they are gone the sale is over.

We also have some catch cans and coolant overflows instock as seen here https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ve...take-pipe.html

The fuel cell features are:
  • Saves ~ 35 lbs.
  • Bolts into factory mounting points
  • Can use Factory Fuel Pump Hanger
  • CNC Ring with factory size/thread holes & raised lip to promote proper seal for FP Housing
  • Piano Hinge Baffles around factory fuel pumps
  • Sumped for Drag Racers with two -12 fittings
  • Hooks up to factory fill neck and vent lines
  • Additional Male -8 AN Fitting can be used as vent or return
  • Holds just under 6 gallons
  • The two Black AN Fittings not included (Can be supplied for additional cost)

Here are a few pictures.

We are now sold out of bolt in fuel cells for this initial run. We do plan on doing another run in the near future. If you want to get on the waiting list please email sales@fathousefab.com to reserve your spot. The more interest we see the sooner we will product another run of these!

Looks good. Out of curiosity. Would it be worth it (dry weight savings) to build one with higher capacity. Let's say 10 gallons?

So the buschur double pumper setup would drop into this no problem correct? What if Im running factory fuels line now, I would need to convert to SS correct?

As long as its no taller then the factory pump setup then yes it would fit. You could still run all factory lines if you use a factory fuel pump hanger. You would just transfer your entire fuel pump housing assembly over to this fuel cell.

Demetri we could not get 10 gallons out of it. We may be able to fit one more gallon in the same space but definitely not a 10 gallon cell.

I would really like to know where you came up with the 35 pound weight savings?

Stock tank is 27 pounds without sending unit which has to go in new one. Gas tank heat shields weighs 5 pounds total. 32 pounds total for a stock empty tank.

I would like to know exactly how much your tank weighs without a sending unit?
