Over the years we've had many requests for a Pro version of the NonCdi and we've finally gotten around to it. You can finally have the fit and finish that rivals our SparkTech ProCDI system.



We wanted to design a mounting plate that was functional. This Pro version utilizes the 4 oem mounting holes that previously were used to mount your oem plastic coil cover. Utilizing these mounting positions this system can be installed on all Evo's 4-9. Previously our regular NonCdi fitment were Evo 4-8 and a special one to suit the Evo 9 valve covers. The coils mount to the underside of the mounting plate with all wiring hidden under the plate. This design allows for a very clean show worthy engine bay. Wire tuck guys are going to love this system . Whenever we design something, performance is at the top of the design criteria, if it ends up looking good that's just a bonus. The abbreviated Spark Tech logo(4G63 available also) is functional, as it is cut all the way through the top of the plate directly above the tops of the coils to aid in coil cooling. This system is suitable for your Time Attack Evo, Street/Strip or your daily driver with standalone or factory ecu. It is 100% plug and play.

Purchased this yesterday. Been getting a lot of p300 codes arbitrarily in the last few months. Resistance in the coils doesnt check out and looks like they're on their way out. Hopefully this resolves my ignition issues. Eager for them to arrive!

 

Thanks for your support. While I can't promise you it will eliminate your p300 codes. I actually had my tuner remove that code from the ecu. It has been documented that it is triggered by harmonics from the drive train. Either way you will have a new Ignition system that will be up to task for just about anything you can throw at it.

Funny enough I disabled the periphery bit lookup myself just the other day after reading this as well. No more codes obviously but I have had ignition issues with the boost I'm running and I'm sure this will be the missing piece to the puzzle.

 

^Worked well for me. If I have a misfire I want to feel it don't need the ecu to tell me lol
