Raail Performance Coatings is proud to announce that we are releasing a Low VOC Xytek Plasticoat product for all EPA regulated states and countries abroad. This passes all federally mandated regulations that prohibit high VOC products to be sprayed in their state. We have an MSDS available for this product on our website. Isn't this the same as Plastidip?

 

Are you just using Plastidip or have you actually developed a totally different product?

 

That's cool stuff.

 

Chances are it is a different product. There are lots of products that are the "same" as plasti-dip, plasti-dip just happened to be the one that got the name out there the best so. Same as Kleenex; just a tissue but everyone calls them kleenex regardless of what brand they are

 

You have my interest. Looking forward to seeing what you guys can do with this product.

 

but can it do any color? this will make it the same or hands down better than plastidip

 

How do you remove it from all the nooks and crannies? This has deterred me from plastidip

 

I'm assuming it's plastidip with lower content of solvents that debatably destroy paint over time.

 

I believe the difference is that Plastidip is a rubber coating and this is a Plastic coating.

 

Oh really? Then why would they put "Plasti" in PlastiDip?

 

well, technically rubber and plastic are the same thing

 

Seems like a fancy name for plastidip to me.... It has to be virtually the same stuff

 

Again, plastidip is just a brand that has become the name of a product family (the common name for rubberized coating). Yes, it's probably the same stuff but Raail hasn't been back to answer questions about it

 

That's the thing. You would of thought they would be here answering stuff. If the prices are big I think it's a bit of a rip off.
