how do u log boost via a map sensor?
ill probably wait to get dyno'd, because im waiting on some new cams, and im doing alot of nailbiting because ill be putting them in myself.

Can't say I was happy with mine. Trying out Turbotrix or Visnu next.
Car is running ultra rich right now. I put the exact same distance on my friends car before and after the tune. Better luck to everyone else. Al has proven him self time and time again. I'm probably just a fluke.

plus at idle tons of little chunks of gas can be felt when i put my hand half a foot from the exhaust.

Unless you have verified with before-and-after dynos, before-and-after track times, or before-and-after wideband AFR readings, then you are selling yourself and Dynoflash short. You should verify things instead of going off your non-scientific methods.
As an example, right after I put down 341whp/361wtq on alky, I went and did just a basic 3rd gear pull side-by-side with a fellow Dynoflashed car in the DC area. We were dead even on 2 straight pulls, yet he only dyno'd in the 300-305whp range during a Dyno Day where I put down 294 before alky/header/o2/wga/flash. My numbers were much higher, and I killed him in ET and MPH at the track, but in a 3rd gear highway pull, I couldn't even beat him by an inch.
Before wasting money on a different tuner, try getting some empirical evidence. Also, do a pressure test and compression test (both very easy) to verify that everything is in 100% working order. If so, and you can actually determine that your tune is poor, then Al would be glad to remedy it as best he can.
Clay, I have much respect for the both of you as you know. I'll take your advice and get a dyno in sometime soon for you, but I wasn't previously dyno'd beforehand so it wouldn't be a very good way to see the changes that occoured. Never in my post did I say Al was a bad tuner. Just that nothing seemed different.
If its supposed to be as night-and-day as everyone says, I must have gotten the short end of the stick.

In others setting up the tune properly may actually make a car slower than when it was untuned - (e.g. if the car was too lean before it was tuned, tuning it may actually make less peak power)
As you know my tuning uses very precise data logging equipment which takes a very close reading on the a/f
ALL IT TAKES is a slight boost leak to develop - (which is super easy on a turbo charged car with long runs of fmic pipes and soft motor counts) and the car may very well start to run exceedingly rich
Also - a miss fire condition from a fouled spark plug of loose plug wire may result in unburnt fuel
Its always been somewhat humerous to me that many people think the car is fixed like a statute and once tuned will run the same way invariably - despite the fact that they may do zero maintenance or check up on the car such as boost leak tests or changing spark plugs
Since one of your complaints is unburnt fuel exiting your exhuast at idle and since I do not even touch that area of closed loop operation i can guaratntee you that your condition is unrelated to any flashing issue but more likely a result of some mechanical combustion matter
In any event I will be happy to look over your car when I next return to TX

Thats very nice of you, however I don't feel its your job to sit around checking things to make sure my car is in properly working order. I'll do what clay requested and report back I suppose.
New spark plugs were installed dirrectly after the tune since I never got a chance to put them in beforehand. The old ones showed little to no wear at all though but new ones couldn't hurt.
