Stock 9s usually put down around 230-245awhp depending on the correction factor and other info put in by the dyno tech.

That is why you don't look at ET, you look at the weight of the car and the MPH. Driver has less effect on MPH than ET if he at least floors the car

in defense of warrtalon, he often (not always, mind you) gives spot-on assessments of whatever he speaks his mind about. people, though, are offended at the lack of filtering when what he thinks goes directly to what he types. doesn't make him less right, thought, and sensitive people should focus on whether he's right rather than whether he's rude.

back on topic, i am really suspicious of your mods. if my memory serves me right, the intercooler pipes and O2 housing were on IX's this past weekend during AMS's BBQ that ended up dyno-ing less than the tune i got from shiv. just so you don't feel too bad, there was a IX that was "tuned" and put only 302hp on a dyno that corrects to dynojet-like numbers. anyways, i'd put the OEM parts back on and go form there. good luck.

Nikka,

Your numbers are on the low end but the point is that you tie the nut to your own neck when you mentioned on your signature :bad *** tune from Kenny D. Obviously the dyno numbers are a constrast of the "bad ***" tune.

I honestly don't know who Kenny D is, however I know who Kenny G is, he is a world class renoum jazz player.

Why haven't you chose a known tuner from this forum?

Carlos

Maybe he wanted to be unique and not follow the crowd. Sometimes being different is a bad thing.

sometimes, too, you get what you pay for. and the irony is that being cheap initially often costs more in the long run.

Several questions....

1) How long has this tuner been tuning cars?
2) Does he specialize in other cars? mainly evos for this purpose
2a) if no....then why did you let him tune your evo?
3) Reason why you let him tune your car instead of another tuner that specialize in evos?
