Hello Peakboost

let me just start out by saying that i love the products that peakboost produces, both for their quality and performance. I have used their products on my race 240sx and have had no problems. ken is a great guy that usually goes out of his way to help. now with that said i move on to the point of this thread. Months ago in October of 2006 i contacted Ken after obtaining an 05 Evo, i let him know my plans for the car and what i needed to buy from him. he got back to me and told me he would see what he could do. Later that month i contacted him again to see if he had had a chance to get any info together for me, his response was that he was preparing for SEMA. I understood that and didn't bug him until afterwards. at that point i was told that he had still not had a chance to get anything together due to being at SEMA and then having to catch up and get back into the swing of things after SEMA. i understood this and still do, what i am having a problem with is that for the past month and a half i have been trying to contact him through e-mail, pm's, and the sort. i have still heard nothing back, not a single reply. i understand that stuff is busy and overwhelming at times but for months not to reply? I understand that there is the possibility of my attempts to contact him not getting to him or something of the nature. if that is the case, it is completely understandable. to me this seems like something you would expect from a 14 year old girl trying to dump her boyfriend without having to talk to him, it doesn't seem like the way a great company as Peakboost should be treating a customer that has spend thousands with is the past and has money in hand to spend tons more. The reason for me posting this thread is not to taint the reputation of Peakboost or to even attempt to slander ken in anyway, i am simply hoping that this will get me some sort of response from them so that i can spend the money i have set aside for them, with them and allow you all to comment, be it negative or positive on my part or their part. i still do and will always continue to praise peakboost, ken, their products, and the cars they produce.

Thank you,
Jonathan

Very sorry about that, it was a quick write, as for it being in the "service tuning and parts review" section, again i express my apologies. i am a newbie and was unaware that i should post it in that section. Is there a way for me to move it, if so please enlighten me.

From what I see, they are not that great with customer service? Why still praise them? When a customer is ready to buy and there is no response from the vendor - that says "Stay Away" all over it. What if something happens to the product Ken manufactures? What kind of response are you going to get then?

0 customer support - that's what I see. I don't think I ever heard of Peakboost in Evo world, so he might not even be on these boards. It just seems that he doesn't want to deal with Evos, he's probably not responding because he doesn't know anything about these cars. Check around, there are many great vendors here

him and his evo have been featured in d-sport magazine. the company's user name on this forum is none other than Peakboost. why still praise them you ask, well because i understand that sometimes stuff happens but that doesn't change the fact of how good the products that i have used from them have been and i hope continue to be.

Yeah, the best way to deal with them is to call them, he's stated repeatedly he's not on this forum much and it's easier to communicate with him via phone. I've spent over $6k with Ken as recent as 2 months ago and haven't had any problems at all. While my custom kit was being built he called me once a week even if there was nothing to update, if that's not customer service I don't know what is.

877-23-TURBO Call them. Don't rely on pm or email as that is not a real viable form of communication, imo. I'd rather talk to someone, especially if I'm spending a substantial amount of $.
