Thumbs up TTP Engineering street tuned EVO

Scott from TTP just came up to fayetteville, nc this weekend. i was surprised that he still came and we didn't even have a definate 5 cars for him to tune. it goes to show you how dedicated he is to tuning these cars and providing his services to the evo community. my first impression when meeting him in person was he was very calm and laid back. he never gets irritated when asking him questions and he is willing to explain anything you ask him about his tune.

now for a few examples of his tuning capabilities. a customer came in with a previous tune from a vendor who has the second highest feedback on this forum. when the car was brought in it was pulling timing and cutting out. after some TTP tuning, the car has 24whp and 16ft/lbs torque more than it had before. another customer had his car tuned at some crap shop in raleigh and was also pulling timing bad and running like dog****. TTP end result was 128whp more on 93oct. pump gas and 200whp more on 114/93 mix. that car had a 60trim/880cc injectors + some other mods. myself, as well as the customer and everyone else there, were freakin amazed Scott is an amazing tuner and we could only wish he was closer.

then theres my car. i got it street tuned so i don't have any dyno #'s. all i can say is i was debating on selling my car and now i hate scott because the car is quicker than ever before on the street. no more black smoke coming out the exhaust like my old tune. after the 60trim evo was tuned, i trailed him on a 1mile closed, but paved back road to see how i'd do and i was glued to his bumper. some of that could have been due to the driver mod but i was amazed at how strong my car runs on pump gas. of course i'm sure on race gas it'd be alot different but regardless, i'm impressed how well my car runs. now i don't want to sell it and all i want to do is get it to the track this week with the new tune and new tranny installed.

thanks scott for coming up here and showing us the great services you can provide to us here in nc. we'll make sure to get a bigger turn out next time now that we have proof of your results. your a class act and thanks again

I didnt get a tune from TTP/Scott , but i did meet him and i watched him work . Its a night and day difference from "other tuners" ive deal with . Its nice to have a tuner talk to you and not down to you (and not keep repeating his catch phrase over and over)!

Matt iam glad your happy with you tune .
now lets see how she runs.....

So after the 60 trim Evo was tuned at the Dyno on 114/93 race gas mix, where the car gained 200 more HP, you trailed him on a closed back road with your street tune and was right there at his bumper on pump gas!

I feel bad for the guy with the 60 trim, .

But your tune was nice, .

WOW your impression of Scott was dead on... calm and laid back.. dont think anything can upset him.. and Im not shocked to know everyones end result on there tunes, when he tuned me for the second time he gained 24 whp just in tuning for a/f... I was shocked myself...

Keep it up TTP, I will see you soon.!!!

Yes we tuned him for 93/114, then loaded in the pumpgas map with the higher octane. I couldn't recall the % used on the pumpgas Profec tune. Not sure what boost he was running on that spirited run. Told him to dial it into 23-24psi.

When you run higher octane than necessary you can actually slow down the car a little bit. He probably would have been faster on plain 93oct FYI.
