Carbon fiber (or even fiberglass for that matter) can be difficult to work with, and easy to screw up. The end product could quite easily fall apart, and/or not last as long, especially if exposed to weather and air moving through it at high speed. My personal opinion on rip-offs is you're simply giving money to somebody that is only concerned with making $$, and has little concern for quality. They have no name or reputation to uphold, and once word gets out about their product being junk, they'll just move on and rip something else off. Of course the people that bought the junk will ***** even though they knew what they were getting into.
The companies that spend the time and $$ on the R&D, and quality assurance are the ones that get my money

Whoa whoa there buddy. I wouldn't be so quick to judge all "knockoffs." I've held a JDP evo VIII lip next to the doluck one and I cannot tell the difference aside from the fact that my JDP lip is actually cf around the ends of the lip as well. I know John from JDP himself spends a minimum of 6 hours on each lip laying cf by hand and polishing that thing till it shines. Its been on the car for a year and a couple of months. Lowered on springs and scratched and abused and IT STILL looks as good as new after a good wash and polish. I do agree with you though. Some knockoffs are trash but then again, some knockoffs are as good as the real thing if not better. Spare me the ethics argument. We have patent laws for a reason and no one's violating any of them. The vendors who do sell knockoffs are for the most part good honest vendors who tell you that they're replicas or knockoffs to begin with. So people have really nothing to ***** about since they're already told that its a knockoff. IF you don't like it then don't buy it, but it's really uncalled for to ***** and moan on an internet site that a new knockoff has been made.
Voltex Replica Rear Diffuser .
My friend at NRG was kind enough to show me the new diffuser. Honestly I think the fitment is very good considering that its a replica. The quality and finish is immaculate. All in All I would go with the NRG. I also have some comparison pictures below.
Note: Also I got hooked up with 3 of these bad boys to let me know if anyone is interested.
