im not understanding this? Can you please explain in somewhat detail? Also i herd you have quite a nice shop.

The car was purchased with close to 40,000 miles of MODIFIED use on it. Investigation into cylinder pressure indicated it to be on the lower limits, but equally worn. Normally this is fine on a turbo car, as to compensate, you just crank up the boost.

In the case of striving for a stock turbo record however, once you run out of turbo efficiency and speed, there is nothing left to compress into the cylinders so the only way to increase power is to regain the cylinder pressure through rings and honing or pressure testing the head and if need be, 3 or 5 angle valvejob to make sure all of the boost is able to be used and not wasted out of the rings or unseated valves.

Compsciboi- WickedE is correct. After much thought, I knew if I wanted to go quicker I would need to go elsewhere. TTP doesn't have much 1/4 experience, so I decided to go to CFT after an extremely gracious offer. They delivered first night out. We are now working as a team with some very big sponsors and the RS is looking good. We are about to shock evom
