Well, those were on a dynojet. The mods are ported intake mani, 65mm TB, megan o2 and manifold, BR exhaust, ETS I/C piping & I/C, fuel pump, M3 cams. Think thats it. Its just that a similar modded IX put down 50 more whp on an MD the night before we dynoed mine on the same MD. Thats what made us go looking around. It is what it is The car flat out hauls a$$ for the power its making.

Well, my car is identical part wise...

What boost pressure did it have when you laid that down? No meth, alky, etc?

-E

P.S. Did the mounts help at all?

Like i suggested before the answer is meth =-)

You'll hit your goals for sure with a meth kit, it will always make more power than race gas on the stock turbo.

Cheers!

The answer is NOT adding methanol.

If the high mileage engine is down 20psi compression across the board, its equal to running 20psi less boost from the tiny stock turbo.

Adding methanol to 116 octane would have little to no effect.

Damn sorry to hear about needing to rebuild, but nice to know you have a fast IX RS.
