Beware Of Devo Tuning!!!

This is still on going so I will keep you updated as to the outcome, however the story is...
I bought a 2 piece driveshaft from Devo Tuning a little over a month ago and have been getting the run around ever since. Now recently ( past week or so) they stopped answering their phones. I've left emails, phone messages, and I call several times a day (until the answering machine is full) and still get no response from Devo. Then the other day I noticed they took the driveshaft off of their website, witch can't be good either. I've started legal action with the credit card company to get my money back although I really want the driveshaft and depending on the total outcome I might call the BBB. I just wanted to let everyone know so this doesn't happen to them.

Thats an interesting story, I ordered and received my 2-piece driveshaft from them about a month or so ago... I think someone on here mentioned they were busy trying to move to a new warehouse location. I don't know if that has anything to do with the lack of communication. It is still no excuse though. Hope it all works out for the better.

This is what I think about Devo.

Adam did all the work on my car. Everytime they worked on my car they where very busy. People would come in and want things done without any appointment and s$%%%t. I was getting really angry when I seen that. When Adam told me that they would get a part he would get it no questions asked. He is great about that. Adam is moving to a new place but he needs to get his shop under control. I believe he would be one of the best Evo shops in US all he has to do is get a system in place and a nice show room and you have a winner. ADAM I hope you read this and change your shop around because I really like your work quality and I want to see you grow. ImprezvSE you where to quick to crap on a shop next time just relax or drive over and see whats going on before you come on here and panic. I do understand you but you should have taken a drive over and all this would have not happen.

Adam good luck on your new place and please kick some major asssssss.

Dude he said he ordered it over a month ago. He heard nothing from the shop after HE tried numerous times to contact them through different methods. I would be pissed too. If a part is gonna take more than a few days to get to a customer you should contact the customer and let them know, not just wait til the part shows and then ship it. Just good bussiness sense

I'm not here to back a shop up I'm just stating that if you spoke to Adam about your Drive Shaft and he stated it was shipped why in da hell would you make such a $$##$$ up thread.

i wouldnt want to wait over a month for anything...
especially if the part is supposed to be in stock

AMS informed me they were going though a move
and a process that would normally take a week
would take near a month do so...they could have
did the same. im sure DEVO is a great shop and
just made a mistake but time is money and if im
going to spend my money i want there time.

but on a pos note...at least now they got in
contact with you and hopefully your part will be
there soon.

Well, many will be disappointed then, I waited 6 weeks for my intake manifold, 3 weeks for turbo kit, 5 weeks for brakes.

If you guys are wanted every other day contact that is crazy. I would call or just pm every 10-14 days asking how it's going.

I would hate to see what some of you would do with a full build and waiting 2+ months With all that said, you didn't see me whining saying "Mr.Vendor hasn't shipped my part yet it's been XXX amount of time!!"

Just venting at what seems to be a case of "We're just backed up!".
