Subscribed, brother and I can't wait to return from Iraq for my next round of "go fast quicker" parts.

I guess I never updated this. Fixed the headgasket, got the head decked, 5-angle valve job, and ported, installed with L19 headstuds and then back to the dyno for a proper tune. Ended up with 384whp/342wtq on pump and 432whp/398wtq on alky:

Check post #23 for a compro from my IX turbo setup to my BBK setup now. No it's not a perfect comparison, but it shows the progress on my car and what you can do with the BBK:
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/7248903-post23.html

BBK is worth appriximately +50whp/+20wtq on pump over an IX turbo but these numbers don't mean much; its the widened powerband that really makes it amazing.

Will the black coatings change color over a period of time? I read on another thread that they turn a brownish color. Is this true? Thanks.

Not from what we've seen. The black does change from a satin sheen, to a flat black, but stays black.

The blue does get a little lighter in color once fully up to temp, and turns to a flat sheen like the black.

Hope that helps!

I had the car apart a month ago and all of the black coating was holding up fine, outside and inside.

I noticed you didnt coat the flange surface, like where the manifold meets the head or where the turbo hotside meets the o2 housing. Is it standard practice to not coat the surface? I thought I saw buschurs coated o2 housing it the entire thing was coated.

i have my downpipe swain coated... and they didnt coat the mating surfaces either...

i think it allows the gasket to still do its job and do the sealing...
