I posted up in the ORLANDO SOCIAL thread asking if there were any good shops to check out in the orlando area, 3 came recomended. in this order TTP, Xtremeboost, and Kami speed. I purchase and had several parts installed at each of the following shops with no problems what so ever. Catch can, new down pipe, vacume port box, ecu cover, Varis cannards, Jdm evo tag bracket, manifold cover, painted valve cover, coil pack cover, annnnd I also had new and improved BC pillow ball mounts intalled as well. and I didn't have any problem AT ALL with any of the other shops I went to.

Sorry???
You asked " why i went to TTP" ...... I said they came recommended
You asked " why didn't i install/ wait" ....... I said I was on vacation, and didn't have my tools with me.
I did have a fellow Evo owner help me install them......Scott @ TTP, lol
but for real, when I was having the problems I did have a fellow evo owner put my oem parts back on.

Oh....... well, I wasn't really anxious per say. I just thought any decent shop would be able to install a BOV and Waste gate actuator...... were not talking bout putting the a man on the moon here, just a couple simple parts any gear head should be able to install.
And for the record I did uninstall the Forge BOV in the parking lot of my condo, using a penny ( didn't have a flat head ) so don't think I'm not capable. And mind you I was in Orlando for over 2 weeks, so it's not like it was a rush job.
And PS: love you sig "Boosting like a hyena drunk off corn fuel!"

They might be simple installs but they can really affect the way drives and reacts to boost. If you dont think they are not important mods then you have to re-think the way you go about modding you car and not just throw a whole bunch of parts together. Good luck with your issues.
WELL......,LETS MAKE THIS SIMPLE FOR YOU....!
You pay a "professional" for parts and install because you would hope he would do a good job and inform you of all issues that may come up and to address those issues when they do come up . A professional should know how to work on your car if he agrees to do work to your car . A professional should be able to inform you ( the customer ) of what to do and NOT do . You pay a "PRO" so that you make as little mistakes as possible , you pay for the ability to trust someone that will guide you in the right path .
And for the record, I didn't just through a bunch of parts together! Everything accept for the cobb ap is AMS...... does that sound like I just threw parts on my car? come on man.... really?

Good to know where I won't consider spending any money in the future.
And what true statement that demonstrates his professionalism would that be? That the MR's are garbage and will never make real power? Tell that to the guys in East Asia making your power levels on MR's without meth.

First of all, we 100% fully sold and installed the Forge Evo15 valve and High Boost Actuator correctly on your car. There is only one antenna made by Forge. There is no "Evo X version".
As stated numerous times in PM's to you, the ACCESSPORT wastage solenoid duty cycle boost maps and airflow expected torque maps must be modified in order for the ECU to correctly understand the additional airflow the high boost actuator creates at early rpm.
It serves a similar purpose of adding a boost pill inline to your EBC. Once you add a boost pill, you have to reduce your duty cycle. Because you thought that the Accessport was a great investment, then decided to leave the Accessport at home instead of bringing it with you to have your parts installed 1000mi away, you in turn locked your ECU from being able to be accessed and airflow limits modified. Now you have the equivalent of a boost controller that is LOCKED OUT with no outside control over duty cycle and gain.
The Forge HIGH BOOST ACTUATOR is the name of the part you purchase for an actuator. The minimum pressure is 19psi which is 6-8psi higher than the stock actuator. The lowest the actuator will go is 19psi. There is no way to correctly install it lower than its spring pressure. The actuator preload has little to do with crack pressure of the WGA and it is because you do not understand how an actuator works is why you are frustrated. We have done our best to explain how these mechanical parts work. We are sorry if you do not understand.
The Evo X is a hotwire MAF equipped vehicle which is very sensitive to blow off valves and airflow harmonics which is why we use the stock valve on our own drag/street car Evo X.
We changed out the red spring all the way to yellow which is the softest to reduce the harmonics of airflow past the hotwire MAF sensor.
The problem with clients like yourself is you spread yourself too thin. You have bragged about taking your car to 5-10 shops in Orlando alone, have tuner X working on your accessport out of state, claimed the tune to be a "work in progress" and unfinished by a guy we have never even heard of and had multiple shops physically work on your car.
We do not enjoy working on cars which 10 different shops have worked on. We build cars from the ground up and have the best results from clients that invest in our knowledge and not just our parts. When you take your car to 10 shops, everyone is an expert and each one of them has a different recommendation for your car / diagnosis / alterior motive for speaking derogatorily speaking about another.
We have found ourselves to be very helpful, given you plenty of options, however you have decided instead to be rude to us, send us PM's filled with profanity in which you have interestingly removed from the PM's you have posted and to this very minute continue to send us baiting and pompous PM's that you think will get a rise out of us.
There is someone who is being unprofessional and we'll let the forum be the judge.

The reason the thread has many views is because the majority of the forum that has conducted business with us, have been serviced by us and or tuned by us and is a large audience. As can be seen by the outpouring of supporters of our company, it makes it rightfully appear as if you appear to be in left field.
To close, we installed the parts you were adamant about buying. You were unhappy about the ACCESSPORT TUNE in conjunction with the new parts. Did not bring your AP with you so you were unable to modify your mapping. You brought your car to 5 shops in the area for their opinions. Shop number 5 did not rectify your airflow mismatch issue with the AP maps and in turn, removed the aftermarket high boost actuator from your car until you could get home and get the accessport you left at home so the ECU could be unlocked and tuned for your parts.
We are sorry you feel you had a poor experience. Our recommendation is to find a shop you trust and stick with one shop for all of your installation and tuning needs to alleviate the frustration of adding parts where mapping changes are required and cannot be completed at the same time.

Just because my cars been to several shop in the Orlando area....does not mean I had 10 shops put parts on my car. Installing new pillow ball mounts, and canards isn't going to affect my tune!
So your saying, unless ( TTP ) does all the work on a customers car that you would rather not work on it at all??? So basically buy everything from you, or else?? good to know......
And your shop was the only one that made my car through CODES!
And my car wasn't tuned by a NO NAME SHOP!
Jorge @ P & L Motor sports is very well know and has had several cars on the cover of some very prominent Tuner magazines.
And HE tuned my car in MARYLAND! WHERE I LIVE! NOT OUT OF STATE!
And to close???? Parts I was adamant on buying???? I told you that I would only get them IFFFFFFFFFF it didn't effect my current tune! You said it wouldn't. YOUR WERE WRONG.
And the reason I sent you the PM last night with the laughing smiley faces is cause I wanted you to KNOW that you just can't walk over the little guy!!! Plus in the last PM you sent me you said " good luck with you going forward "
This is forward!

I think that you should let TTP finish the car and do it right. You should know enough by now to know that you need to get the computer calibrated for the parts you're installing. Take the accessport off and have them tune the car, pay them for their work and move on.
They treated you well over PM and seem to be handling this situation well despite your attempts to drag them through the mud.

Dude, did you read anything? I LIVE IN MARYLAND!!! I AM NOT IN FLORIDA!!! And even if I was you couldn't pay me to go back to TTP.
I do NOW know the computer has to get re-calibrated!
I told TTP that I did not want the parts to affect my CURRENT TUNE!!!
HE SAID THEY WOULDN'T!!! THEY DID!!!
AND TELLING ME MY CAR IS A PIECE OF GARBAGE IS YOUR VERSION OF THEM TREATING ME WELL????
I guess I'm a little different than YOU...... I like good customer service!

And lastly, if I would have known that Scott thought the EVO X MRs were "garbage" and that he only prefers to build cars from the ground up with his parts, than I would have never went to TTP engineering. He should have just said so in the first place, and this all would have been avoided.

I think what scott is trying to say is your being a PITA and he would rather not deal with you ... I think If you had a serious problem scott would stand by it 100% ...
But he is right about the Evo X Being garbage <--no sugar coating ...
Maybe you should research more before you purchase a SportsCar next time ..

O.k.
I'll spell it out for you if I wasn't clear enough before. I purchased the EVO X MR specifically because of the Automatic feature. I drive a Mentally challenged man around nearly 7 days a week. I wanted a smooth, reliable, easy to drive, luxury (sat nav/leather/all the bells and whistles) turbo charged car, with a automatic type transmission! There aren't many options out there.
I also purchased a 07 wrx sti for the purpose of making it a full time drag car.
