Hta green

Not too many threads for this bad boy. Installed it last night along with the mona lisa mani and MAP o2 dump, its the 84mm housing also, and ported. For starters, my bov is quiet again! The turbo doesnt hiss like the stock one, its a light whistle when driving around town. As of right now i turned the boost as low as it will go, which is about 1.6 bar. Right now im selftuned, and the weird thing is, i did't have to touch anything! The logs were remarkably perfect during WOT, and man does it pull hard all the way to redline. It's nice to hold all my boost now! The tune is very conservative, evoscan wasnt reading my load so i couldnt play with it, its just to get by for now. I leave for California tomorrow morning from Mississippi and i'm gettin tuned at RRE using 3 port bcs ecu controlled boost. I dont have much first hand experience with other turbos besides the red, and for some reason, i walked my buddies RED equipped evo like nothing, basically untuned. Full spool to 1.6 bar at 3800rpms. Basic bolton car with Kelford 272's. Dyno sheet will be up next Wednesday as im getting tuned tuesday night. Stay tuned. Overall, i wasn't expecting such awesomeness with this turbo

edit: Dyno is up. This is a roadcourse tune, not a pissed off tune

I helped with the install and other than a few speed bumps it went fairly well and he's right, that thing pulls like no other! The manifold is truly a work of art as well as the o2 dump. I was extremely happy with the results! Here's the pics before we put it on since he hasn't put them up yet...

Sorry but all we had was a camera phone

1.6 bar is the lowest it goes... why can't you turn it down lower?

He has the Forge MBC and has it turned as low as it could go. I ran into the same problem when I switched to my red and ended up having to cut a coil off the spring in the MBC so it wouldn't boost as much. The 18 psi wastegate has a lot to do with it.
