BBK Full rocks
What's good:
- Nice increase in power.
- Off-boost power is better than stock.
- Boost response is more proportional to throttle position than stock, so power is easier to control.
- Transient response feels as good as stock when in the powerband.
What's bad:
- It's not free.
Details:
- +20wtq/+60whp over stock with some caveats - cams and a tubular manifold were installed at the same time, but the car has a 100 cell cat and stock intake tube, tuning is not complete.
- With my stock turbo, the powerband starts at about 3500 rpm and power peaks at about 6100 rpm. With the BBK, it starts at 3800 rpm and power peaks at 6700 rpm (and drops off more slowly), so the BBK powerband is at least 400 rpm wider than stock.

Glad your enjoying the BBK Full Mr. Fred...so far I have enjoyed mine also...Looking forward to testing my Toxicfab manifold by friday...I am still thinking about picking up a BBK-B...
I love my BBK and the way it spools is crazy!! I am torn between upgrading to a B, maximizing my "FULL", or maybe going with the new HKS! Either way CBRD did well on this and you can't go wrong with the FULL

Hoping to set something up so Chad can tune it and or talk me into upgrading to BBK-B,

mrfred- love that you are testing, thanks for all the info. I got some guys on the sidelines right now wanting to buy a turbo.
How often do you make it to Portland? Id love to see how the BBK feels and spools compared to stock IX. The more I read the more temped I am to say screw BSP and just go to SM with my evo.
