Comparing my ported FULL to the VIII turbo (10.5 HS), I have somewhat different results.

I also get at least 1 MPG better for city with the full.

What's different?

 

I love my BBK but this bit has me scratching my head. My car does seem a bit more sluggish at super low revs now than it did with the stock turbo. But I also installed an ETS front mount/piping and GSC S2 cams at the same time. Could those be at fault instead of the turbo?

 

I guess I should say that while its better than stock, its not hugely better than stock. Just enough to be noticable. MIVEC plays a big factor in off boost power.

 

+1......I was surprised at the improved driveability and response in the low-end and mid-range, but I also got S2's, ported EM, ported Megan O2, etc. when I had the Full installed.

 

The difference probably related to more specific things but the FULL seems to initiate spool slightly earlier than stock. Not as fast though, more linear and smooth

 

when i ran my FULL on pump gas I got the same MPG's as stock, but it dropped dramatically wen I converted to E85

 

nice testing results! ill be putting on my bbk-b next week and will post results switching from my maxed out stock 9 turbo!

 

Nice results. Can't decide between the BBK or HKS.
