Smile Porting Job by MAPerformance!!!

Just wanted to give a thumbs up to MAP. Adam took care of me like always and answered all my question. I sent in the hotside and the turnaround was pretty quick. I don't really know how it should look but it I think it looks nice and the car drives much smoother now and comes into power quicker. Happy New Years people!!!

I have an ebay tubular at the moment...I'll be switching to a ported and coated Mona Lisa manifold in a couple days and getting some numbers on it.

I would agree that porting 'looks' great, but why does the flange surface look this way? It would appear they are trying to deck too fast or too deep or both. Ideally the mating surfaces should have a particular class of finish because they are being sealed with a metal gasket and under significant pressure. Finish should match something of a cylinder head in an ideal situation.

I don't know, but this manifold allows me to spool 32psi by 3800rpm on a 2.3L with a fp black.. so its doing some serious work.

Machining marks always look exaggerated when taking flash photography.

So porting the IX hotside is considered to be worthwhile?
