So total fail trying to get a new camcorder last night at Best buy. Bought a $250 sony handy cam (which looked great upon checking it out in the store) and go home and charge it and its complete junk. The contrast was horriable and it was all pixleated. My phone takes better quality recordings and pictures. Going this weekend to get a diffrent one. Also getting a retune with new goodies! Will keep this updated

Nice review on this clutch man. I know the previous QM Twin's had a short life span of 10-15k miles so since this new twin is designed to suit the daily driving a little more is there any hope for more mileage out it? Say 20-25k miles. I currently have the Competition Twin and I got about 23k miles before it started slipping and now its pretty much gone with 26k. I'd like to put it in the shop next week if I can ever decide on a twin that is reasonably priced.

So the street/strip is basically the race clutch with a heavier flywheel? Max torque holding capacity should be the same as the race, right? I'm going to have to see if I can test drive the QM Race & street/strip to make my decision on my next clutch.

You are exactly right. Uses the discs from the race version but a heavier flywheel to make street driving very friendly.

So I know alot of have been asking for videos of this clutch, unfortunately I can't get any at this moment: rod in cylinder 2 snapped in half!! Won't be making it to the shootout with the car this year, but will be there to watch. The block has lasted 52k with over 150+ passes on it so I'm not to surprised that it went. Just picked a really bad time. Plans are to build a 2.0 long rod motor with all the bells and whistles.

Pics of the discs?- ah nevermind... it sounded like the discs were different on this than the normal race version.

How you drive the car is really the determining factor.
