Import image sucks

You guys reassured me my clutch would have been to me in 2 days said u had it in stock and charged me $80 more than any other place I could have recieved it from. Instead it was 7 days delivery...In the past I have spent several thousands of dollars with you and you cost me 3 days of storage for my car. So you no longer get my business...thanks but no thanks

My car was not with them I was replacing the clutch myself at a dealership. I had already started taking my car apart that's when I discovered they had dropped shipped the clutch from somewhere else and noticed the delivery time was going to be seven days. They should have called me and said the clutch was not in stock and they would have to drop ship it. 2 days goes by before I finally got an email with a tracking number. Thats when I made the discovery that it was going to take 7 business days to get my clutch. I had to remove my car from the lift and pay 3 days of storage because they lied to me. When I called they would not refund my money nor try to even fix or amend the situation. I don't recommend anyone to do business with these yahoo's . When I pay an extra $80 bucks to get something quick it better get me quick. They will never get my business again Titan motorsports could have got the clutch to me for nearly $100 less than import image did. When you blow people of and tell me I'm SOL, U WILL never get my business again, and I will make sure you get bad press for doing bad business. They should have at least refunded me the $80 bucks for expedited shipping.

On what day did you order the clutch and what day did it ship to you?

I would just ask them for a refund on the shipping. They could at least do that for you. It never hurts to ask.

I have asked for a refund but they have offered nothing. If u look at my past post history I have never FLAMED anyone on EVOM. But this situation import image ended up costing me over $240 in storage fees and additional and $120 in labor cost.

I can understand the storage fees, but how did a clutch being shipped late, cause aditional labor charges?

The OP should contact his or her CC about a charge-back on the extra paid for fast shipping. You can't do anything, really, about the consequences of the delayed delivery (such as the storage fees), but you can do something about not getting what you paid for.

I really, really hate drop-shippers who pretend to have stuff in stock. Takes us all back to the "dorm-room drop-shipper" days which immediately reminds me of dealing with the Humls when I had a DSM.

Don't most of the vendors just drop ship from the manufactures and rely on their word on stock levels. I had one of the popular vendors on here sell me some GSC S2 cams that were "in stock" to be told that there was going to be a 4 to 6 week wait. Noticed the vendor as them still marked as in stock, even though he knows that they're not.

I'm just going from vendor to vendor trying to find one that gives good service, I would be happy enough with some communication on how things are going instead of having to contact the vendor every week or two to find out what's happening with my order.

Yes, most do. But most don't take an extra $80 from you, saying that you'll have it in 2 days and then not deliver until a week later.
