It almost seems easier to work with and remove. Sad it took this long to produce. I still installed it with 3 wavy rings and I reused my clutch stopper too LOL.

I just hope it works as advertised. Normally I dont buy "unproven" bleeding edge products.

^ Exactly... I don't buy anything that is a first model year, (i.e. cars parts etc)

BUT this seems like such a good product and I need a new clutch soon.

Good to hear that it seems easier to put on and take off....If I give this to the dealer to install with a stock clutch and FW, is there a way they can screw it up? or are there instructions etc? Thanks

Why install a stock clutch after $800 plus of labor to do a clutch? Get something meatier in there.

Installed a few so far and no problems thus far. If I have the problem with my XTSS I will be installing this. I really have not heard of many ACT clutches popping the wedge collar but damn impressive for ACT to still be designing something so nice for an aging platform.

Does this prevent the high rpm lock out? Also if I were to get the act xtss what else is needed to make it a pull type to work with the monoloc?

This only prevents the clip from popping out. Lockout is caused by an array of other issues. Just get the monoloc and install on your XTSS and you will be ready to go.

yours has 3-4 wave rings its not going to pop. but its also not going to disconnect the TOB ever either LOL..

so we will need to unbolt the pressure plate from the flywheel and pull the trans with it attached to the tob in the trans lol.

thank god ACT made this product, because doing it the way i was having to do it prior was horrible.

I just installed one in my car with a new triple a few weeks ago... nice product, installed with two wave springs and of course kept the clutch fork stop just in case...

I dont beat on the car a whole lot, but cheap insurance is exactly what it sounds like...

My clutch with MonoLoc is working great. HDSS drives like a dream and has held up well so far. I haven't launched but quite a few high energy multi gear pulls and no issues.
