I have had the cable, not sure which think it was U, for about 2 years and only used it maybe 2 dozen times. My car was out of commission for about 6 months and when I got it going again and went to do a log I couldn't get the cable to connect. I smelled a burnt plastic smell coming from it. I filed a support ticket with EvoScan at the end of May. After a week didn't get a reply so I changed the priority to medium and added a message. It has now been almost 2 months with still no response. I decided to cut the plug open to see if I could fix it as I have heard of others fixing theirs. I opened it and found this...



It looks like the thing almost caught fire...Just keep that in mind if you are trying to use your cable and smell a hot plastic smell.
