Hi,
evoscan replied to me via email and I should check my cable with diffrent computer/car and my car with diffrent Tactrix cable.
Probably I know where is the problem.
Ecuflash 1.44 is wrong and has wrong drivers for our cables. The solution is to install earlier version of the program (the best will be 1.42) but it won't work if we had installed 1.44 on our computer. Even if we delete ecuflash drivers will be in our system - it is extremely difficult to delete them and only formatting our Windows and system partition and then installin ecuflash 1.42 will help and it will works.
Please check this if you have problems with cable and program.
Martin.

After seeing the entire specs change after I ordered, and the ship date change 3 times now, there's no way I am going to buy anything from Evoscan again. People who got them say they don't even work!
No one should have to be put through the wringer like this with any vendor. Lots of us, not just me. It took weeks and weeks of ignored emails and support tickets, and two threads, and help from "higher ups" to finally get an answer. If left to my own abilities, I would just still be sitting, wondering whatever happened to the thing I bought on the internet from that guy in New Zealand. I would not give you money again. Sorry.
Good luck with whatever you do man.

So, guys I have installed older version of Ecuflash (1.42) on my new computer (Apple with two systems - OSX and Windows 7), cable Tactrix 1.3U and it works.
Sometimes it took few times when it connects to the ECU but it works.
Conclusions are new version of Ecuflash (1.44) cause problems with cable drivers. Please do not install the newest version of Ecuflash if you won't have problems with connection with ECU.
Regards

Interesting conclusion.
ecuflash 1.42 contains 1.3U driver file: FTD2XX.dll version 3.1.15
ecuflash 1.44 contains 1.3U driver file: FTD2XX.dll version 3.1.19
if you copy the file FTD2XX.dll version 3.1.15 to the same folder as the v1.44 ecuflash.exe it will use that driver instead. the ecuflash.exe looks firstly for a driver in the same folder FTD2XX.dll and uses it.
try that and see if you can get v1.44 working that way. because v1.44 is a lot better.
