I've recently purchased a second hand Sparktech (M&W) Pro12 CDI ignition system for my car and I'm having a few problems with it. I looked up Sparktech's website, which doesn't appear to have been updated recently, even their online store link seems to be a dead, and their Facebook page hasn't been updated for years. So my question is, does Sparktech still exist as a company and if not does anyone have a schematic for the harness and plug for their Pro12 CDI ignition when it's used for four separate coils and wasted spark (I checked the M&W page, they have the pin out but only as used on the oem twin coil arrangement)?

 

I sent a few inquiries through their webform a few months ago and never got a response, either. Not the actions of a store that's still doing business.

It not really the same thing, the image below is one that Sparktech posted up on EvoM a few times many years ago, but what they posted up is completely different to how my system is wired. My car will start and run fine, even drive off boost, but as soon as I start boosting the ignition breaks up completely, all backfiring and lurching down the road. I sent my harness pinout arrangement to M&W and they said there were a few mistakes, including it being set up as two spark, which is completely unnecessary according to M&W, but I can't work out what Sparktech have done and whether it's correct for their setup.

I tried ordering a COP kit from them a couple years ago. Had to call my credit card company to get my money back since they had minimal or no updates on the order. So no idea what has been going on with them.
