Dont forget he has no choice though Marine Corps lets him choose a general area, then they choose his actual MOS.. If he wanted AME, he might get AO, AD, AM, etc.. I think avionics and electronics are the only ones that he has to choose specifically from the get go..

Brian!

You're one of the best things to have happened to Vishnu. Your joining was the beginning of Vishnu's customer service turnaround and the example you've set for taking care of people is part of what makes Vishnu great not just good.

You are passionate and you have my utmost respect for going after what you want when it'd be easy to cruise. Wish you the best of luck with this new endeavor. Please report back often and avoid running into walls unless explicitly ordered to do so.

Thanks for all the support guys!

SILVRNBLK- Yeah bootcamp is down at MCRDSD and Pendleton.

Tom- You may be able to go to my grad. but I was told each recruit is only allowed X amount of guests, which seems likely considering MCRD SD is only about 400 square acres. Not sure how many I'll be allowed, I hope its more than usual considering the company is most likely going to be smaller since its later in the year.

As for my MOS, I chose the field AG, which is enlisted aircrew. The jobs listed in that field were, loadmaster, aircraft mech (fixed or rotor), navigator, and airborne radio operator. I don't know how much truth there is to it, but my recruiter told me that when in Pensacola, FL they will sometimes ask you which MOS you prefer. I'm not going to hold him to that, but it would be nice if that were the case. Regardless, I really wouldn't mind any of those choices.

Dustin- you know I feel the same way bro. You and steph are the most superb people ever.

Evan- thanks man for your support and the help you've given me! I'll try not to run through walls, but I do admit, doing so was pretty fun the other day

Yea, aircrew school is in pensacola, and the group you picked has alot of choices... However, if you asked for aircrew, you'll probably be put in that first, and if you cant hack the 8 swim quals you have to do (better like 1 mile ocean swims), then you'll get dropped to mech or something.

Graduation will have plenty of room. I had 15 people at my graduation and only half the bleachers were filled in total.. Lotsa hotties on grad day too!
