Anyone else running without cat and not throwing codes - other than the dreaded P0300

I wonder if the 02 sensors are sitting & waiting to sound off It's been a 1/2 year now

 

I didn't get one at all w/ mine. I did however recently do the anti-foul mod, and still none. I may take it back out to experiment now that you said this.

Just out of curiosity.. Are you sure the light works? I'm assuming yes, since you've gotten the 0300.

YA well that happned to me When I throw my cat delete in I thought. COOL NO CEL and then one tank later here it is and it keeps coming back every 40 some miles.

Unless your a mad man and drive in open loop all the time.

My understanding is a code like the cat code only happens when the car is crousing and the computer runs a systems check to make sure that the front 02 has a signifacent diffrent reading then the rear.


Give it time you will have the cel before you know it

No CELs from my UR 3" test pipe. Just the crappy P0300 nonsense codes, which I was getting before the test pipe.

 

It is weird... I have no cel light with just a normal helix TP, the one w/o cel fix. My CEL just never showed up. Don't know if it is good or bad, but yeah.. No CEL with testpipes and no cel fix of anykind.

 

i have a damn CEL with mine, and i have the o2 simulator thingy....anyone know how to get it to go away?

 

Funny that explains why I get the cat code when I am driving like a responsible citizen. I better start this practice of being responsible behind the wheel because since getting my car back I have been pulled over twice. I am going to sue Vishnu for making my car too fast if I lose my license. It is his fault and I will get big Al to represent me.

Same here, none on the UR.

 

Just pulling out my get out of a ticket card/badge a lil too much. Once for tint leaving Pleasonton as Smoggy ran like a banshi to get his coffee and the 2nd one involved a Honda Hatch that I just passed a lil aggressively. Way to have my back Smoggy. Good thing Highway Patrol has left me alone because some don't accept my get out of a ticket card. will be investing in a radar detector soon.OUT!

 

What's the "Fouler" method? Anyone have a link to a how-to?
