I have launch control on my XEDE. If you have the most current version 2 firmware then you have the launch control. Get a laptop plug it into the XEDE and move the stage limiter to where you want it.

Have fun.

I don't use it. The problem lies in turning it off after your launch. Some how a switch is going to be needed in order to turn it on and off. The clutch switch should be used to turn it off.

I was screwing with it in May after the Portland dyno day. I could build 10 psi and it would rip off the line.

Oh, and BUMP.
Noise when I was in Atlanta with my evo friends we all use to talkabout how you are annoying and create more fights and arguments. This thread was created to get infromation which I recieved. There are mutiple EVO owners in Atlanta that can stand you so leave me alone. I didn't want to even argue just get infromation

Mods please close this thread since it is not going to be very productive for information

I know the crew of your cronies and exactly who you are referring too. Needless to say I'm not losing any sleep over it.

On topic and off drama: If I recall correctly, you were there at the dyno day where we all got launch control with the latest firmware, but Shiv defeated it for everyone because there was a slight issue with the logistics of it. You might not remember, becasue you didn't have an XEDE at the time. The version we have, you can only have one launch each time the car is running. To activate again, key off, back on, and the first run up will have launch control.

Interesting, that must have been an update in the firmware. The only time I messed with it was when I had the last firmware and it would not turn off. I will have to play with it tonight and see if the new firmware fixes that problem.

In all seriousness, I have been waiting for twelve months for an upgrade from the initial release of the Xede software such that cold idle problem are resolved. Could Vishnu please answer one simple question. Why can’t an interim release of the software be made available to the community where field installation is allowed and not all what if features are implemented?

(Note: I could care less for launch control.)

I might care about the launch control - if only I knew about its principle of operation and how to use it...
