That's a peaky car...turbo runs of steam pretty bad up top. Those cars must be beasts if they can maintain boost.

for VF series turbo's i'd recommend the gruppe-s v2 manifold. when i put it on my wrx it made really noticable gains. the powerband was shifted more to the top. only downside is that it doesn't retain heat as well as the stock piece does. I recently sold mine though and ported (gasket matched) my stock manifold becasue i am going with a substantially larger turbo compared to the vf30 i once had. I did this because the new turbo will make power up top on it's own.
