Actually, I had to part with the XEDE.. (Can't use a piggy-back at the USTCC series). It's been a good year, though, with the XEDE...it's 91 octane custom-tune was great.

I ran my last two sessions @ thunderhill with Pete's (@WORKS) race-tune (flashed ECU)...and that was bad-*** too (what a difference a 100 octane "tune" makes!).
I believe that, and those wicked TOYOs got me in the 2:03s (yeah, the tune and tires were "too fast" for me). Tires would not even squeal..more time with them would've given me better lap times.

hey patrick(right?),
i didn't know you had a timer in the car?.

i hope you're not quoting times based on how much faster
the car "felt"with those tires on(oliver told me it felt 4-5 secs. faster)

if those are real times then the 888's are more impressive than i thought.
i'm sure the fact that the normal ra-1's weren't getting up to temp and the 888's
were probably quite a bit softer and thus getting some heat in them, but damn that's
a couple of secs. faster than the hoosers are over the ra-1's.

i wish toyo would release those tires already!

you have any more trackdays planned?

Hey Sean (right?)
Those 888s were actually the hardest of the 3 compounds TOYO offers (!!)
Amazing what the softer ones would do.
Turn 8 was just a slight lift (maybe a little, little "tap" on the brakes) - and GAS!

April 08-09, Sears Point (w/ NASA). Be there man...let's have some fun again.
This time, I will be testing Hankook's Z211s (have to dial out the handling with those tires - no choice). Good meeting you @Thunderhill man.

P
*btw, Pete's race tune is CRAZY
