Exede Map Question

Hey guys I am wondering can I run a Stage 1 Map with my mods cause I don't have the cam gears any advise will be appreciated thanks .

I'd say you'd be fine with an off the shelf map until you can get some cam gears. You'll probably lose out on a couple horsepower but I don't think you'll hurt anything. If you want to be overly extra safe you could run a 0+ map but I'm pretty sure Shiv left enough of a margin in the Stage 1 map for you to be OK.

Also, base maps are designed to run with stock air filters, so lose the k&n before you use the map.

Its a K&N Drop in Filter with the Stock Air Box

shiv actually suggested that i use the stage 1 map even though i dont have cam gears...i followed his advice and my car runs great!

Thanks for the advice what are your mods and did you dyno the car yet

engine mods at the time were 3" turboback, WORX dv, Upper IC pipe and FMIC

car ran great then...will be getting tuned april 2nd in Atlanta with cams and gears so i wont have any numbers for you with the stage 1 map
