Isn't that similar to what Buschur was doing?

Buschur was trying to use a modified 16G compressor housing w/ a reverse cut 20G wheel.

AFAIK D.B. hasn't given up on it yet, but they were disappointed with the results of the initial attempt ... i.e. less hp than a TME turbo.

Superman, how did you get a 20g wheel to operate given the hot side of the 16G since the turbos have opposite rotations from one another?

FWIW The wheel D.B. had tooled up was not exactly to spec. the project is waiting for a cast unit. This will be a hot setup if it ever materializes but with three failed attempts to produce one the project isn't looking good at this juncture.

I'm curious about this.. I am aware of at least 3 different shops attempting this, but so far, there was only one that had any information about positive results (from japan)

They list it with a 21G compressor

Interesting....did they cast a new Compressor housing?? or is it the aforementioned "20G wheel hack"

I think you'll lose power unless you step up to a TD06 housing for that 20G compressor wheel.

I hate to say this, but once the cost of that turbo went over $1000 it stopped being worthwhile to me..

However, I already have all the parts, all I need is the wheel and machining to get it completed, Even if I have to have someone send me a damn wheel and do the machining myself.
