Hi. I didnt want to start a new thread so just adding to this one. I currently have Dynoflash on my ECU. It was a custom tune. I like how XEDE is a user-programmable device and was wondering if the maps you supply us will be equal to a custom dynofash (street) tune. I know Shiv you are wayy in Cali and us Floridians will probably never have the pleasure of getting our car's tuned by you, so was wondering how effective the maps you have are. Also like the ECUTEK - does XEDE control boost? So just to sum up.... here are the points i asked:

1. Are your supplied maps just as effective if not better than a Custom Dynoflash tune.

2. Does XEDE control boost like ECUTEK?

Thanks Shiv and your team. (btw do u speak Hindi?)

1. Depending on your mods, an off the shelf map would be the same as a mail in flash. Custom tunes, for majority of the time, should be a little better than off the shelf.

2. Yes, the XEDE does control boost. No need for an electronic or manual boost controller.

I believe there are dyno charts on the vishnu website showing the gains of off the shelf maps

I would get cam gears since they will give 20 WHP in top end

I got (stock 225whp) 300WHp on a stage1 with 91 octance. Plus 324WHp on 100 with no cams I moved to socal so I have to smog my car every 2 years. I am very happy with my smog legal setup

The new V3 is awesome my car runs smooth

Put it this way about the base maps. The last dyno day in dallas when SHiv came to custom tune XEDEs. My first dyno run yeilded 335whp Shiv made 3 more run and I netted 336whp. SO the base maps are pretty DEAD on. If you install everything correctly!

also, Dyno4mance in atlanta is very good at tuning the xede. Depending on where you are in FL, this is probably not a terrible drive.
