ATTN: Anything VISHNU

Anybody's help is appreciated but Shiv's or David's would be best!!!!

I recently had road race remove my stage 3 kit and install stock kit.

Car was returned to me running 11 lbs. (figured it was something to do with tuning)

Download Xede map Stage 1 +

Car still running 11lbs. wtf???????

Remove intake. What do i see???? i see missing boost pressure lines that go to factory boost control solenoid. Both lines missing, not hanging around. MISSING.

Go to Mitsu to buy lines, they dont have em. Go back to road race and they fix everything up. Honest mistake, no biggie.

But heres when things just start to **** me the **** off.

New lines installed, factory restrictor pill removed. CAR STILL BOOSTS 11 lbs.

WTF WTF WTF WTF WTF WTF WTF WTF WTF WTF WTF WTF WTF WTF WTF WTF

Road Race told me that was all they could do from there ( which was all they could do since the xede is shiv's product)

Now vishnu is closed for the night.

Im tired of playing phone tag with these two shops so now im hoping Shiv or David can help me solve this crap.

Anybody with any comment or suggestions i appreciate a whole lot.

This is ****ING FRUSTRATING

Make sure there is a restrictor pill in the line from the turbo to the "T".

The boost lines that goes between the T and the lower intercooler pipe needs to have a restrictor in it in order for the factory boost control system to work. Without it there, your turbo will only boost to 11psi. There was a restrictor in the boost lines that you used with the Stg 3 kit. This should have been re-used when you went back to your stock turbo.

Yep. From that pipe, there should be a nipple. The short hose that goes from that nipple to the "T" needs the restrictor. You can get it from a Mitsubishi dealership. However, you will need to buy the whole wastegate line set-up (3 hoses with the T) which will cost around $50. Just call to make sure they have it in stock before going there. Or, just call up Road Race and say that you need the one from the hoses they took out.

Just my 2c
