If we already have the old V3, and we update to this V3, will our maps still work properly, or do we need to change anything?

Just a simple update. None of the variables need to be changed.

Hang tight guys... we're going to release another version of xmap3 and firmware in a few days. We're testing it right now. It will incorporate the new smooth start-up and address the 1/2 retard display issue

I'm running V2 right now and was going to upgrade to V3...i take it I should probably wait for the newest version you are talking about.....i assume we'd have to go through all the steps with "boot mode" and what not again?

I updated the firmware and I was getting the cold start from time to time and the fix has seem to cure alot of these starts, but the first start in the morning is REALLY jerky like if the whole engine, and drivetrain shake the whole friggin car. Doesn't sound good. Is the new firmware shiv was talking about a different version of this fix? or am I just trippin.

Shiv, Shiv, Shiv. I'm saying this with a smile BTW, but you said almost the same thing to me back in November about the prerelease of V3! I'm glad I finally have it but I'm not sure I've noticed any difference with it, and I guess I'm fortunate that I don't have any cold start issues that I've noticed. I will still stay current though and can't wait for data logging to be introduced.

Thanks,
Sam
