If you are talking about a BOV that vents to the atomsphere and recirculates, I am currently using APS BOV with Stage 1++ and it works great. I am not sure what its set to but full and partial throttle driveablity is awesome better than stock. APS BOV

Thanks. That is exactly I was looking for someone with a similar set up. How does the APS sound audibly when you drive. I currently am using a type s greddy and was thinking of changing it for one that reciculates and vents atmosphere in 50/50 or 75/25.

I like mine - no (very little) bucking coming off throttle

Its not loud at all, I think it even quiter than stock and from what I read the APS bov is 25/75 only 25 to the atmosphere. I love the fact that this BOV is not loud, my exhaust is already loud enough, I don't need another thing attracting negative attention.

The APS isn't really 50/50 or 25/75 or any of that. If I could find a picture it would describe how it works. Basically there are two output ports - one recirc, one VTA. The VTA port is farther out than the recirc port. Under light boost it is mostly recirc, but if you hit full boost, the piston moves farther out, uncovering the VTA port as well. So it is really all dependent on how much boost you are making when you release that determines or whether not the BOV VTAs.

In my experience, the APS is loud. Not louder than a true VTA, but for a hybrid BOV is it loud. I have a Greddy TypeS, which I had tuned for super awesome driveability - I wanted to try out the APS BOV but in my opinion the piston is a bit too stiff. On partial throttle (part boost) lift off the car will stutter a bit, and will not give a clean blow off (no matter how I adjust the screw). Compared to stock the APS IS awesome, but compared to my Greddy... it's no contest.

That's why I'm selling my 2 day old APS BOV. It's up for sale in the for sale section.
