New Feature Request

How hard would it be to provide us with a studderbox launch and no lift to shift option?

Many of us are coming from the DSM community where these options were standard with aftermarket software.

The ability to build boost at the line and hold boost between shifts is a huge benefit.

Please let us know what your thinking is on these features.

Thanks in advance!

Currently working on anti-lag but I suspect these two features might have some similarity. We'll look into it...

The reason I am pushing this ......is...... I previously owned a DSMLink computer for my Eclipse. Well the 95 Eprom ECU actually fits in the EVO. Several people have upgraded to EVO's and continued to run the Eclipse ECU that provides the studderbox and NLTS. If they can make it work without hacking the harness then you fellas should be able to as well.

It would also be nice if you can make a feature that allows us to disable or ignore some troublecodes like EGR or rear O2 sensor. These should all be fairly simple to mod.

I'm pretty sure these features would make many of us very happy. Building boost at the line and not lifting until the traps is an amazing feeling. It helps big time with spool between gears and its actually alot smoother. I shaved a half second in my GSX with NLTS.

What is a bang bang system?

Isn't antilag primarily for larger turbos......smaller turbo's (stock) dont really need antilag.

What most people think of as antilag -- dumping fuel into the hot exhaust path in order to keep the turbo spooled.

The idea of true anitlag is to retard ignition timing so late that the core combustion process is still going on when the exhaust valve opens. That forces a lot of REALLY hot, high-energy gases through the turbine housing and out the exhaust. That spins the hell out of the turbo and usually produces a lot of noise to go along with it. I'm not sure if that is what these guys are planning or not. I've never heard of it being call bang-bang before but I haven't really researched it much because I've never had a monster turbo.

Most of us do not need anitlag but a regular studderbox and no lift to shift would provide wonderful gains. //JEFFJESKE

Could someone explain to me exactly how the stutterbox feature works? What actually happens to timing, fuel and throttle when this activated?

It uses fuel cut and simply changes the rpm threshold of the stock rev limiter function in the ECU while the clutch switch is engaged. For those worried about leaning out......Being lean doesnt matter when the load on the motor is still pretty low.

If you want to view a studderbox launch and NLTS......I have a few files from my GSX that you can view with this code: http://www.dsmlink.com/downloads.html

Email me if you want the files: JEFFEJESKE@JEFFJESKE.COM

A clutch-activated secondary rev limiter? That's it? Is it a simple fuel cut or does it do something with spark?

How aggressive are you going to make the anit-lag? Is it going to be adjustable? I would like just enough to keep 20psi all the time .
