I don't have a picture of the wideband that can answer the question, but couldn't you remove the connector from the sensor's cable to permit installing it through the existing hole? How did Ludikraut's install get through the hole? I though he has the same wideband sensor?

To be honest I would cut the wires on the wideband itself and splice them before I hogged out a larger hole for the connector. I'm always concerned about breaking the galvanize when living in the Midwest. Solder and heat shrink is a 10 min job.

It did not fit. We tried to wiggle it through and it barely wouldn't fit. Only had to dremel a small portion of the hole out, which, now that I think back, we also had to do to my car. I suppose you could but and re-connect the wires, but personally I'd rater just enlarge the hole, even with the nasty, salty winters here. Just paint it over after you're done.

On another note what are you guys doing to prevent wear through of the sensor wire jacket and prevent moisture intrusion? Do you split the plug that was in the hole or find a grommet?

Split the grommet -- it should be clear in the directions when vishnu releases them. I enlarged the hole enough to fit the sensor easily (no matter what dustin says ) but not so much that the grommet was loose. I can send some photos if people are interested, but the the photos in the forthcoming vishnu install guide should be fine.
