i had xede installed on saturday...everything was great..at least i think it is
1st and 2nd gear: 18 psi
3rd and 4th gear: 20 psi

on 4th gear..it will jump up to 24 psi and stay at 20 psi till redline


today installed the emulator...
and now i run 17 psi on all gears!!!

i thought the emualotor was suppose to bump it up!!!


and a question on the blinker light?
when the car is started(engine on) its green light.
but when i turn on (engine off)..its blinking red....is that a good thing?

i did exactly what the website said...and yes im still running xede!

whats the difference running the emulator and leaving the pill in the hose?

i changed the hose....so i still have stock hose with the pill in it...the hose i used was just slightly bigger than stock...connected the emulator and used the same hose and that was it!!!

 

Please explain exactly how you installed the emulator. What is it between? What else did you do?

The reason I ask is that if you installed the emulator correctly, there is no way it can do anything else BUT raise boost. All it does is add another passive signal bleed which operates in parallel with the factory boost control solenoid.

i changed to a new hose...install the emulator, install another hose to the end of the emulator, and then install it to the boost solenoid...the one closest to the front bumper!!!

and prior to the emulator install..
does the 1st and 2nd gear at 18 psi sound right?
and 3rd and 4th gear at 20 psi?

and 4th gear jumped to 24 psi and went to 20 stayed until redline!!!
