Any Stage 1+ 100oct With Bleeder Valve
Any Stage 1+ 100oct With Bleeder Valve
Well i noticed I am only dishing out a max of 22psi(peak) of boost with the map and race gas. Im wondering how much more boost can you guys run with the boost tables set to all 100 with your stage1+ cars without the bleeder valve? And also how much more boost can I get out of the xede once I have the bleeder valve installed?

It seems that every stock turbo's wastegate actuators are set at different tension levels. Some cars hold boost, some don't... the Vishnu bandaid for weak actuators is the bleeder. I think a forge actuator is a far better solution to this problem.
Yea I got the xedeflash when I bought the xede
I only see a little difference between 93oct and 100oct maps in terms of max boost, I guess I'll get the bleeder valve tomorrow if I can get a hold of someone at vishnu tomorrow.

Hey smokedmustang what was your max boost without the valve?

You probably wont gain much pushing the stock turbo that hard anyway.
I saw gains that equal 1MPH for every degree of overall advance timing on race gas.
Try adding some timing and leaving boost at a safe level. There's no reason to turn your turbo into a flame thrower.

Installed the bleeder valve and boost went up significantly, actually too much. Its okay though I really wanted to be able to make more adjustments with the xede boost table and now I can do so.
I just installed the bleeder valve on my Stage 1 this past Friday to help out with a low boost peak that I'm having at a higher elevation track. I used to peak at 21 PSI then taper to 16-17 PSI. Now I get a 24 PSI peak then a taper to 16-17 PSI. Along with my new Forge RS DV valve, I was able to run about a tenth quicker and trap 1.5 MPH higher.
