I have an idea as to why the XEDE or ECU, that is debatable, messes up every now and then....Im thinking this is why the car acts funny (stumbles, runs 14.7-1 A/F's)

The loading is based on MAP for my car.... the MAF map starts modifying the signal at the load point of 62% where it pulls -1.0 of MAF. Well, the TIMING map starts modifying the signal at load point of 65%, where it pulls -1.4 timing.....

so....Im thinking that when the yellow cell hits the 62% on the MAF table, the car wants to add timing, but its TOO much timing & the ECU retards the timing.....and sence the TIMING table doesnt start to retard the timing till 65%, thats where this stumble comes from.

I want to borrow JPs laptop to modify the load points to see if I can make the problem subside.....the thing is, do I REALLY want to mess with the MAF & TIMING tables on a map that Shiv custom tuned??? Not really.

I still think the Xede could be the problem, as the stock ECU has yet to stumble like this. It would be nice if I could get a 100% brand new one to "try out", as Shiv once stated he could not tell the difference between an Xede equipped WRX or a reflashed one....well, I can .

Hey b-101, you sound like Kevie, aka Evo8power. Could you post up that 523whp 423 tq graph? We could better compare our two cars. Aren't you still in the 12s in that Evo? Dang, posts about me have brought back all classic antogonists: Kevie, Mhyer, and Marcus.

By the way, you look about 15hp and 70tq below me and I'm only at 27psi to your 30... Shouldn't you be trying to break into the 11s with your 500 hp car before picking on a car/driver that did that with a 16g turbo?

That STI curve looks pretty good actually. I think I make power quite a bit earlier though. According to Harmon Motive, he is at 21 psi, I'm at an very conservative 19.5. That makes a significant difference. Here the graphs are next to each other with the same correction factor applied:

nice chart comparo smoggy....clearly you can see the advantages of the EVOs spoolup versus the STIs long header design, cause the STI also has a .2L advantage but it doesnt look like it...
