Another launch control thread...
I will admit that I didn't get out test equipment and hook it up to the car, but I did look at the schematics. From my read the speed sensor yields a frequency based signal. My understanding is that the Evo's version of the Xede only has one frequency based input which is used for the air mass sensor. Thus there isn't anyway to directly hook the speed sensor to the Xexe.
One could create a frequency to voltage converter as there are single chip solutions available. In fact I remember reading somewhere on the web that someone created a simple circuit card with this function for an automotive application. The voltage output could be connected to AN2 and THAT could be used to map the function your looking for.
Note that if you use AN2 for speed, then you won't have that input available for potentially a 3 bar pressure / boost sensor...
