The car is sick. It is totally different ANIMAL with just retuned ECU and with a complete exhaust system. Honest when it was stock, I regret of getting the sunroof option because it is porky(heavy) than those with out a sunroof.
After the tune. The car feels lighter(even lighter than my Type R) because of the new found obnoxious torque and horsepower. It is like a raging bull that it pulls hard in every RPM.
Defintely recommend a tune by Shiv. A+++

You're stoked! I noticed an immediate difference in my '03 Evo8 after an Xflash & Vsihnu standard exhaust..Tuned by Shiv..he had mentioned my car was one of the strongest he had seen with his tune... After I put on the HKS 272/264 cams and another dyno tune by Shiv...a brande new BEAST was born! Thanks Shiv....

well you car will be about as fast as his is with just the flash and exhaust..lol.

 

I had an 03' evo VIII with the xedy, 272/264 buddy club cams, cam gears, intercooler w/piping etc. Anyway, My VIII pulled like a frieghttrain but, I got a great deal on the 06 MR in GG plus they basically laid down and gave me 22k for my trade with 32k on it and let me take the parts off . Anyway at first I was nervous because I didn't think it was really woth it seeing that My 03 was almost payed for. But let me assure when I say that the new 06 isn't even broken in yet but pulls similar to my 03 with all the mods that I had. If I was anyone not sure about the purchase of the 06, trust me it is worth the extra cash just in stock form.

 

06 with vishnu flash is similar to 03 with tuning, exhaust, and cams. (on pump)

shiv already posted numbers in the 'unofficial evo9' thread.... last i checked it was making 270ish? on pump, with just a flash.

 

315 whp on dd if i recall correctly (93 pump with tbe)

 

no he has a tb now.. i wanna see what it makes now

 

I talked to shiv, he said it was 290-300ish whp with the exhaust.
