I say go TME or 6.5 hotside with Meth! It cost 1/2 of the WR. Same numbers on pump better numbers on Meth. GAWD Math is fun!

You guys that dyno'd may want to check your tire pressures. They pumped up my tires prior to my dyno time, and I totally forgot about it until I was sliding all over the place this morning going into work. 44#'s all the way around.

David-

Do you think this dyno reads a little bit higher than Shiv's dyno or Dyno4mance? Those v390 cars are making more than they do in GA on 93 and race gas/methanol.

Just for reference: an Audi B7 S4 dynoed at 253whp the same as another B7 S4 at iirc @ KTR. My car w/my tune on race gas dynoed 310whp in November and trapped 111.7mph.
All the cars that where in the 307~313 whp had ported ex/manifold or header, TME or ported 10.5 and SS or ported 02 housing. The only stage 1+ without this was at 295 whp. None were running cats.

At our days, 1+ cars that are catless with hotsides are 285-305 max on pump. Every now and then, we'll get a freak car like Ted B's that goes up into the 3-teens on 93.

Maybe we've just had an influx of soft cars in the shop, but I bet the dyno reads a tad bit lower.

Negatory good buddy...that dyno at EL was calibrated from our dyno, they should be the same providing the Atm. corr was correct

Are you talking VIIIs only? Because I ran 313whp w/ just TBE & no cat.

That sucks!
Or to be more accurate: Georgia and Tennessee Evos we've seen lately suck.

Results

Shiv did a great job and I wanted to thank him. My car feels much better around town and I gained a lot of torque. I can't wait for the meth kit. Hopefully Vishnu will have it out soon. The positive timing and the conditional stuff seems to be working great so far. The car just feels like it came from the factory this way. It is smooth, linear and somewhat powerful

Thanks to Jorge as well for setting this up.

I dunno, it just depends on what stage 1+ means. For instance, my dyno result of 316 whp was made with a TME, 02 housing, LICP and larger FMIC. Jorge T was also running a larger front mount, so that might explain some of the extra uummph.

They are talking 8's, only the lucky few with 9's can roll on the Dyno and put down 313 with only a cat-back and Shiv's special pixy dust. The rest of us have to bolt on every goody we can get our hands on to get that number short of a turbo upgrade. Just kidding, I was just a bit jealous considering I went after you and could only squeeze 307.8 with Stage 1++. Either way the cars feel really strong and I'm happy with the tune, well balanced through the rev range. I couldn't make it into the 309 club from Friday, Shiv had to print a different sheet for the 307.8 instead of keep giving you guys copies of the 309 tune

Happy to hear that all went so well this weekend guys. Sorry to hear about the WR performing so poorly for Zarathustra, starting to make me wonder about the quality control of FP these days... Can't wait for a bonzai run to Sushihana in the "White Devil" part deux
