i just purchased a xede and it arrived today, so my question is what do i need to do to make this thing work, i will be running the 330 and want to know what is the pill and do i need to do whatever it is with whatever it is before i can use the xede

 

Click "XEDE Support" at the top of the page. Click on Mitsu EVO and read the instructions towards the middle of the page (scroll down). Any questions, just post up.

do i just remove the pill and plug the tube the same way it was before, i bought the xede used and all that it came with was the xede box and the switch and connector for the comp, no emulator

 

do i plug the xede into the car turn it on and then do the xmap thing?

the reason i ask is because the site speaks of another tube you put the pill between, i dont have that new tube any help is appriciated

 

anyone want to comment on the extra tube that i did not get and if i need it

 

you use the passive boost emulator in line,but first see how much boost you are hitting if its a low boost car then use the passive boost emulator.

 

if you are hitting 22psi of boost without it then you wont need it.

 

im hitting around 21 on a good day

 

can i run the xede without the boost emulator for the time being and if i do will the xede still show some results

 

yep you can use it and still get good results!
in what gear do you see full boost the 21psi??

 

2nd or 3rd i cannot remember, it might even be both, my next question is about the version. my xede is running on v2 so i am woundering how to update now or start on v2
