What about the innovate auxbox? Does it work with the lc-1?

yes it does, I have a full function LC-1/LMA3/XD1, you will need a laptop to datalog w/logworks2 the output of the LMA3/LC1.
Now if you wait a bit innovate is about to release the dl-32
The DL-32 can record up to 32 channels of data from other MTS devices into a SD memory card. It also offers 5 internal sensors, 3 solenoid/relay outputs, and expansion inputs for future modules. Coming Soon
you can datalog up to 17 min per MB memory card capacity, sweet!

question... will i need a flash to raise boost cut and fuel cut if i'm staying with stock injectors?

yes, its called the Xede flash and cost $100, IIRC.

The flash is designed for stg 1+(cams), it also raises the rev limiter to 7850rpm and smooths out idle , flashing the ECU is no big deal IMHO.

Well,
If you want to keep your ecu completely stock, you could run denso 660 injectors to get rid of fuel cut.

where do you guys tap the map sensor? we've recently heard it's bad to tap the fpr so where is the alternate place to get a good manifold reading? picture is helpful.

Mine(map sensor for zeitronix was) map from LMA-3 is tapped into the DV vac/boost line.
