i was just out driving the evo and i punched it in 2nd and it was fine, shifted to third, and once it got to about 4.5K it bogged, shifted into 4th, and it did it again. Is this fuel cut? I got my Xede tuned about a year ago but that was before i got the HKS SSQV (I know i shouldnt be VTA and i know i made a bad choice), but could that be causing it? I got the BOV installed over the summer, and this just started happening recently after a few months of it working fine. What could be causing this?

 

Did it bog at 4500rpm and then continue to 6000rpm or did it just stop suddenly and wouldn't let you increase in speed? Do you have the XEDEflash?

BTW...Im wondering if the monroe you live in is the same one as me....I've only seen one white EVO around amd its a IX in Chester.

Sounds like boost cut. Drop the numbers in your boost table by 5 points and see if it goes away. Weather is pretty cold now so MAF values are going to be greater and more likely to trigger the boost cut. Other option is to get an XEDEFlash to raise boost and rev limits.

 

Damn, im right around there and I dont think I've seen any other white EVOs than the one I Mentioned. I have a TB...maybe youve seen me around or something. Where do you get your work done?

 

ive seen a couple of Evos, so i might have seen you. I get everything done by Jason, at Healy Mitsucishi in Goshen
