Low tapering boost. Stock 16G with a 9.8 hotside back in the day.
The run numbers are low, so I'd say you were a stage zero or one? Crappy 60'.

Modifications: Vishnu Stage 1. Full exhaust WITH cat, Xede, cam gears set at -5, full weight. STOCK FUEL PUMP.

 

No way that was with the stock fuel pump. Your motor would have had a catastrophic event .

Stage 1+ at altitude is when the stocker starts needing to be upgraded AFAIK. You were on stock cams at sea level, yes? OEM pump can handle that with ease IMO.

 

I don't think we have sea level tracks here in SoCal.

 

That run that Smogrunner made was at the now defunct Carlsbad Dragstrip. The dragstrip was at about 600' above sea leval. BTW Carlsbad was notorious for never having up to date timeslips. I think all of the timeslips I had when I raced there were dated 1980 .

 

Sorry, when I say sea level, I mean not great altitude, like in CO or someplace where the air is more thin like 3500' plus where you could overrun the stock pump easier. Our track is at 480' here, and nowhere near of overrunning the stock pump with a stage 1 car.

 

it is significant because it shows your amateur drag racing skills ....110.97mph should have been good for a 12.4 run.

 

All to save $80? .. hmm

 

That's unpossible!1!!! Everyone knows the stock fuel pump shoots to 12.1+ AFR up top!
